GROW Groups and Programs

You need to register to attend to GROW Groups and Programs.

Some of the Groups and Programs may be a state initiative and therefore have geographical limitations for attendees. Please be aware that different Groups and different Programs may have different prerequisites, therefore, You should consult the webpage of the Group or Program of your interest for specific information about them.

Donation

GROW receives donations through cheque or money order, and bank transfer. You may, however, utilise the outsourced fundraising to make your donation. GROW has taken reasonable steps to certify that the external agency fundraiser is compliant with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Donations are very important to ensure GROW’s sustainability and the board at GROW has overall responsibility for GROW’s actions and for any fundraising operations, including ensuring there are appropriate and lawful processes in place to manage donations and put them towards pursuing GROW’s charitable purpose.

This website has a donation facility, however payments made in connection with this website are restricted to users who are 18 or older.

Where the Australian Consumer Law applies to fundraisers carrying out fundraising activities on behalf of charities and not-for-profits, GROW is confident that the applicable fundraising activities do not breach the ACL.

Although GROW has reasonable grounds to assure that the fundraiser practices are fair, transparent and well governed, You shall review the fundraiser’s website terms and conditions, contents, privacy practices, and resources prior to making any donations.

Part of the donated funds is used to cover the fundraiser fees and the remaining amounts are transferred to GROW.

When providing the requested information for donations, You must pay attention to the type of donation you wish to give; it be either a one time donation or a recurring donation. You are responsible for ticking the correct box.

If You have opted for recurring donation and wish to cancel the ‘contract’ for donation, please contact the fundraiser directly.

If You wish to make a donation on behalf of someone, it is also your responsibility to receive consent from this person to do so.

No donation refunds are provided.

In case You have any queries about payment options, please contact the fundraiser directly.

You may donate as an individual option or under an organisation option. The option chosen will reflect in the billing information. If You choose to donate as an anonymous, your name will not appear on the page.

GROW promotes assurance and confidence within the public that all funds received are used for legitimate purposes and that all funds received reach legitimate beneficiaries.
