Annual Member Feedback Survey 2024 – 2025
In 2025, GROW received 524 survey responses, representing more than half of our membership base. These insights highlight the impact of our peer-led programs and the difference they make in people’s lives.
Who Our Members Are
- 51% women, 47% men, 3% non-binary/trans/other.
- 13% 18-39, 41% 40-59, 44% aged 60–90.
- 3% Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, 7% LGBTQI+, 7% culturally and linguistically diverse, 33% living with disability.
- Members from across Australia: NSW (33%), VIC (19%), QLD (17%), SA (13%), WA (8%), TAS (5%), NT (2%), ACT (3%).
The Impact of GROW
- 76% overcame suicidal thoughts, 68% stopped suicide attempts, 63% overcame self-harm.
- 84% experienced personal growth, 75% built stronger friendships, 69% gained a sense of belonging.
- 93% overall satisfaction, with most rating GROW 4 or 5 stars.
- Many members report fewer hospitalisations and reduced reliance on medication since joining.
Why It Matters
The survey is a vital part of GROW’s evaluation framework, helping us measure impact, strengthen our programs, and remain accountable to our community and funders.
