GROW’s virtual inaugural Art for the Heart Exhibition was conceived early 2020. Originally it was to be an art gallery experience with a guided tour and commentary held at the GROW Community Centre in Melbourne. The original vision of dignitaries, community members, with a ‘meet the artists, after a guided tour was all part of the vision until COVID-19 pandemic put Victoria in lockdown. As a result, a new vision emerged. It was decided it had to become a virtual exhibition for Growers.
A virtual exhibition meant it could be offered to all GROW communities and groups across Australia as a way to showcase GROW members’ creative talents.
Thank you to all who contributed.
